When it comes to submitting photographic work to the critical scrutiny of others, many amateur photographs feel butterflies in their stomach. Photography contests are your great chance to get an award but they may also make you feel the sting of rejection when your work does not receive the expected recognition. Photography has lots of rewards in itself besides public recognition.
The first stage of photography contests is entrance. When you enter photos in the contest, it is important to carefully follow the rules.
